I could spend all day trying to come up with the words to describe how I love you. When we first got together, I was still broken inside and had my walls up high. Somehow you managed to sneak past those walls and defenses, into my ribcage to find a permanent sitting spot inside of my heart. You've marked it, carved your name on its walls and it's yours and it never wants to let you go. You surprise me all the time with how amazing and sweet and caring you are, showing me that the world isn't always as cruel and harsh and cold as I tend to think it is. You shine a light on my darkest corners and make me feel safe. When my mind tries to trick me into seeing monsters you reveal the truth and put me at ease. You ground me and also send me floating on cloud nine at the same time. That's a rare feat I've never seen anyone pull off before. You're perfect for me.
